Fort Campbell is a U.S. military base that is located between Clarksville, Tennessee and Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Currently, it is home to the 502nd Infantry Regiment, the 327th Infantry Regiment, and the 101st Airborne Division. It is also well-known for its expert parachute demonstration team known as the Screaming Eagles.

Brief History

Ft Campbel was established in 1942 around the same time as the attack on Pearl Harbor. It was named after General William Campbell who was the Brigadier General for the Union Army. Originally, the war department designated Tennessee as the home of Fort Campbell; however, this designation was changed to Kentucky in late 1942.

Highlights of the Fall Fest include a pumpkin carving contest, face painting, trick or treating for the kids, and laser tag games. Other popular events of the year are the Memorial Day Festival in May and the Chinese Moon Festival in September.
